Simple Network Control That Gives You More Flexibility This Cat5 KVM switch is designed to ease multiserver management in data centers, server rooms and other highdensity environments. Builtin IP capability allows up to two users—one local and one remote—to access the network independently and simultaneously. An optional dialin connection (modem port) is provided to ensure access in situations when the KVM switch is not available over the primary network. You may also select a connected computer using onconsole pushbuttons, GUI (graphical user interface), OSD (onscreen display) or keyboard hotkey commands. An LED per KVM port indicates when a computer is connected to the port, when it is powered on and when it is selected. HighResolution OnScreen Display Offers MultiLanguage Support The advanced OSD with highresolution video up to 1920 x 1200 (at 60 Hz) with 24bit color depth provides a GUI with management tools, including custom port labeling, autoscanning and panel array mode. The OSD may be set to display in English, German, Russian, Japanese, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese. Allows Connection of USB Keyboard and Mouse USB console ports are included. Only one keyboard/mouse combination may be connected at a time. Supports Both IPv4 and IPv6 Addresses The B06403201IPG supports IPv4, Link Local IPv6 Address and IPv6 Stateless Autoconfiguration protocols. You may set the IP address manually or have it automatically assigned via DHCP server (the default method). Heightened Security of Every Connection The B06403201IPG offers three levels of password protection (super administrator, administrator and user) to prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to connected servers/computers. Remote authentication support is provided via RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS and Active Directory. The B06403201IPG also incorporates advanced encryption technologies: 1024bit RSA, 56bit DES, 256bit AES and 128bit SSL. It also supports highgrade FIPS 1402 level 1 security standards. NetworkWide Storage Media Access Virtual Media capability allows any computer connected to the KVM via a B055001USBV2, B055001UDP, B055001UDV or B055001UHD server interface unit to access DVD/CD drives, flash drives and other storage media from a remote computer, as if it were directly connected. This allows administrators to perform file transfers, install software and perform diagnostics across a network. Three USB ports are provided on the front panel for use with Virtual Media or USB peripheral devices. EnergyEfficient Operation Prolongs the KVM’s Lifespan Temperature sensors automatically increase or decrease the speed of the units fans as necessary to ensure efficient cooling. This decreases the amount of energy consumed, while prolonging the life of the fans and KVM switch. Free Management Software Included Free NetDirectorAXS management software is available for accessing and controlling the B06403201IPG.
